...drumroll please!....and i saw them! yahooo!!!
April 22, 2005 @5:45 pm, Sponge Cola performed live together with CIUDAD at SM Southmall to promote the PULP summerslam event.
It was a dream come true. Not actually a dream, a day dream come true. hehe. Their performance was great! as in totally g-r-e-a-t!
It was my very first time to see them perform right in front of us (i was with my band, and we were complete!) It was actually tiring `coz we have to wait for one and a quarter hours sitting down and happily chatting about our lives but the long wait was over when i saw armo waving above us(hah?!) Finally they're going to start to sing!
The first to perform was the band called "ciudad". They were great actually, really great. But the sad thing was, they were not noticed as mush as SC was noticed. A little clapped, nobody screamed, but when the vocalist said "sponge cola na po ang susunod" the crowd went wild! They screamed, some jumped, some males shouted "ang gwapo mo yael!" eeekkk..creepy... Kawawa naman ang ciudad, binabastos.. if you're really listening to their songs, you'll really appreciate their music. Their music was good actually, not too reggae,not too rock. tama lang.
While the band was performing, the official photographer of PULP magazine was taking pictures (of course) when she got right in front of us and started taking pictures! HAHAHA. she was amazed siguro because my group and i were all wearing the same color of shirts, black!(my grouped smiled big as if we are on a pictorial, walang pashy-shy) haha ;P hope to see myself sa the next issue of pulp! while ciudad was currently performing, i got a glimpse of armo! wow! cute! as in! specially when he was picking his nose(gross right?!) and he was fixing his retainers..nakakatuwa.. HAHAHA.. Then Chris came out, he was so white! Kinis grabe! nakakasilaw! pero cute din! he he ;P
Sponge Cola performed! wohooo! finally! the crowd went uncontrollable! They sang Partisan, Lunes, KLSP, Una and Jeepney. It was astonishing. Panget nga lang place ko, may harang na speakers! amp! pero ok lang yun, i took so may pictures and a short video clip. hehe ;P
Before pala the SC stuff, i took some sort of written test sa makati. Grabe! tapos hindi pa ako susunduin ng tatay ko. ang sweet diba? na-touch nga ako eh. Hindi pa naman ako marunong umuwi from makati to parañaque. scary! pero luckily, naka-uwi naman ako! hehe ;P
that was my day..actually marami pa yan eh, kaya lang 2 am na, i need to sleep din naman no! hehe ;P share ko nalang ulit kapag may time!
